• Uploaded Answer Copies: Photos (JPEG, PNG, WEBP) and PDF files containing handwritten answer sheets that you submit for optical character recognition and evaluation.
• Evaluation & Mark Records: Scores, examiner red-pen margin comments, rubric breakdowns, and model answers generated for your answer sheets, stored in your personal "My Answer Locker".
• Technical & Log Data: Browser user agent, device screen dimensions, IP address, and timestamps to prevent bot misuse, manage session continuity, and enforce fair-use daily limits.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to deliver and improve the educational evaluation experience:

• Multimodal AI Scoring: Processing your handwritten images via secure vision models to detect structure, handwriting, diagrams, and content against official UPSC CSE rubrics.
• Locker & Marks Tracker: Populating your historical scorecard so you can review feedback, monitor score recovery, and compare past answers over time.
• Fair Quota Management: Enforcing the 15 free daily answer sheet evaluations per candidate to prevent API exhaustion and ensure platform availability for all students.
• Platform Enhancement: Diagnosing evaluation accuracy, eliminating transcription errors, and improving model response quality.

3. Security & Answer Confidentiality

We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS 1.3) for all data in transit between your browser and our servers. Uploaded files and evaluation records are stored in secure databases with strict access controls. Only automated AI vision pipelines parse your answer sheets during active evaluation.

• Deletion Requests: You may request the permanent removal of your account, evaluation records, or uploaded images by contacting support.
• Local Storage Clearing: You can clear local browser cache and saved preferences (such as dark/light mode) anytime via your browser settings.
